Waiting for Lightning - A Danny Way Documentary
There are actions and words in this life we live. Most people if you ask them will say that actions speak louder than words. I would say that is correct. In most cases that is. Because when you have people like Guy Mariano and Mike Carroll talking about Danny Way's achievements, that in my book is quite loud. On the other hand it doesnt take much time to realize that this is no ordinary skater when you watch him on the 2003 DC video landing the mega ramp with such a smooth touch after a couple of tries. In any case one could easily argue that when it comes to Danny Way his personal accomplishments as an athlete, speak for themselves. Skater of the year for Thrasher and Trans world magazines, two gold medals at the X-Games, and of course the infamous jump over the Great Wall of China. His brother Damon, one of the original two founders of DC Shoe Company along with race car driver Ken Block, was the reason that he got into skateboarding in the first place becoming a pro by the time he was only 15 years old. Known for continually pushing himself and his skateboarding skills to the next level, Waiting for Lightning is a documentary about the aggressive and untamed spirit that has driven Danny Way to what he has become today. A living legend
