Varsity Donuts.

If you ever find yourself in Manhattan craving a fat donut and a cup of coffee now you know where to go. Varsity Donuts is located on 704 North Manhattan Avenue in Manahattan. Apart from food related surprises you'll probably find some rather interesting people hanging on their bikes' handlebars having long chats or even designing some rather interesting logos like the ones below.

Digin the Homes.

John's explantion on the new board design.
Homie is the transformation of our standard small wave board Fatty Stoke. We have change quit a few parameters in the design and released a board that is the most versalite and perfrormance in our small wave boards line. Increased nose rocker but still flat entry, deep single-double-vee concaves and distributed foil to keep you going in wave conditions from 1-3 ft. This board should be ordered at least 3-4 inches shorther than your normal shortboard size. Avaliable in both Flextech and Complextech epoxy constructions.

In Loving Memory of Adam Yauch aka MCA

Yesterday would normally go down in history as any other given Friday. Until the time I found out that the Beastie Boys bass player and founding member MCA had passed away after battling with cancer for over 3 years. Ive mentioned before that they are or should I say were, cause even if they do stay together it just wont be the same, my all time favourite band. Still hard for me to believe he is really gone I have to admit I dont get emotional over people I have never even met. The Beastie Boys though being one of the first few bands I discovered on my own back in highschool plus the fact that ive been listening to their stuff for almost 15 years now, it felt like a small piece of my own childhood died along with MCA. At this point I believe its really pointelss going over facts like how influential their music was and how it paved the way for countless hip hop artists, because I believe this is something truly undeniable. All I can say is I feel lucky enough to have attended at least one of their gigs 5 years ago regardless of the fact that some stupid fucks decided to cut it short. Sadly enough Billy Joel's lyrics came true one more time.Only the good die young.Nevertheless, I dont want to finish this off on a negative note, so Ill leave you with a song that has marked my NBA frenzy days and im sure all of you who hated the Pistons back in the day will definitely appreciate. "Now you're poking me in the eye,Bill Laimbeer motherfucker is time for you to die!"
