Back in 1987 New York hip hop pioneers and personal favorites of mine the Beastie Boys released one of their biggest selling hits called (You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party). Twenty four years later Adam Yauch aka MCA wrote and directed a 30 minute short film which is kind of a sequel to the events that took place in the original video for the song. The film stars Elijah Wood, Seth Rogen and Susan Sarandon, and except the actual band it also features quite a number of guest appearances including Will Ferrell, Jack Black and Steve Buscemi.
