Back in the Days: Jonathan Mannion

Back in the Days is a Hip Hop festival that takes place every year starting back in 2006 showcasing everything from photography, music, graffiti and print graphics from rap’s golden era during the 80s and 90s. The second in a series of promotional videos for the exhibition in Paris, this is a clip where hip hop photographer Jonathan Mannion, who has worked with everybody from Pharrell Williams to DMX, shares his experiences on the rise of hip hop culture for the past 15 years, as it grew from an underground movement in the early 1990s to the pop culture phenomenon it is today
