Neck Face was born in a not so popular area of California called Stockton 26 years ago. He started messing around with graffiti from a young age and people began noticing his work through stickers that popped up all around the streets of Stockton and Lodi, before spreading to San Fransisco where the name Neck Face is still visible on numerous walls and newspaper stands. To an experienced eye his designs are immediately recognizable through constant depiction of violence and grim images which are usually weird looking humanly shaped monsters such as the one that appears on a "Batman Begins" billboard in Williamsburg,New York. Another unique characteristic of Neck Face's art is the twisted sense of humor that accompanies many of his figures that is nothing more than an attempt to make people laugh as Neck Face himself once stated. Usually refered to as the savior of street art, Neck Face's pieces have appeared on the streets of major cities all across the world from Copenhagen all the way to Tokyo and Sydney, but his most famous piece up to date was situated in New York City's abandoned My Old Lady storefront before being removed. As his street cred grew stronger Neck Face saw his art entering various galleries from Los Angeles to Miami, but also being a skateboard fanatic got him involved in some commercial projects such as collaborating with Baker Skateboards eventually becoming the company's art director. In 2005 directors Ty Evans along with Spike Jonze, who has also worked on various skate videos, created a documentary on Neck Face.
